On Sunday 1st March, we’re coming together as a club to raise money in support of Kevin Fisher’s London Marathon for The National Brain Appeal.
In 2019, Kevin was diagnosed with a Grade 3 anaplastic oligodendroglioma. Since then, he has taken on incredible challenges to raise money for brain tumour charities. He has climbed the height of Everest (8,848m) in a single 20-hour bike ride by repeatedly cycling Box Hill, ridden Mont Ventoux three times in one day, and completed both the Mallorca 312 and the Western Front Way.
Now Kevin is preparing to run the London Marathon in April, and as close members and friends of the club, we’d love to support his fundraising efforts.
The afternoon will consist of 7-a-side tournaments in a similar format to Club Day, with music, games, and prizes throughout. We’ll also have a cake sale by the pitch.
Entry will be £5 to take part in the tournament, and all proceeds — including money raised from the cake sale — will go directly towards Kevin’s fundraising.
We would love to see as many of you there as possible. More information on timings will be sent out soon!
If you can bake goods for the cake sale can you please message me on 07801859750
